Argyle House is situated in the heart of the West Cliff conservation area and just a few minutes walk to the town centre, harbour and beach. Our friendly guest house dates back to the 1850's and has been lovingly restored to offer quality, en-suite accommodation, tastefully decorated throughout. Many of our guests are returners. We pride ourselves on providing an excellent service with a strong emphasis cleanliness and comfort. We were awarded a four diamond rating by the English Tourism Council. Their inspector said: "The standards of Cleanliness, hospitality and service were excellent." Parking is free outside the guest house and there is a pay-and-display just 50 yards away. We serve a hearty full English breakfast made with Free range eggs and local produce. Special diets are also catered for, including vegetarian and vegan. Sorry, no under five’s or pets. Strictly no smoking. |
